The price of 24 karat per tola gold increased by Rs 3,000 and was sold at Rs 536,562 on Monday compared to its sale at Rs 533,562 on the previous trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported. The price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs 2,572 to Rs 460,015 from Rs 457,443, whereas the price of 10 grams of 22 karat gold went up by Rs 2,358 to Rs 421,695 from Rs 419,337. The price of per tola silver increased by Rs 146 to Rs 9,094 from Rs 8,948, while that of 10 grams silver rose by Rs 125 to Rs 7,796 from Rs 7,671. The price of gold in the international market increased by $30 to $5,138 from $5,108, whereas that of silver rose by $1.46 to $86.10, the Association reported.
