Russia’s military has received a large batch of advanced Su-57 fifth-generation fighter jets, Rostec announced on Monday. The aircraft feature upgraded onboard systems and a new weapons complex, enhancing their combat capabilities.
The jets underwent factory trials and operational evaluations before being delivered to the Russian Defense Ministry. Rostec said the updated Su-57s can perform a wide range of missions, including air, ground, and naval strikes, even under complex weather and electronic warfare conditions.

Rostec head Sergey Chemezov described the fighters as “even more powerful and dangerous,” noting their proven effectiveness on the front line. He emphasized that the aircraft can operate against advanced enemy air defense systems while remaining highly stealthy.
The Su-57’s enhanced features allow 24/7 operations and low observability, making them formidable in modern combat environments. The jets are a key part of Russia’s strategy to maintain technological and operational superiority in the skies.
