
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz launched three major initiatives: the Parwaz Card, Rah-e-Rozgar, and Skill Development Portal. She said the projects aim to empower youth with skills, jobs, and financial support. Around 50,000 skilled young people will benefit from these programs.
Maryam Nawaz emphasized that providing relief and opportunities is the state’s responsibility. She said the government wants youth to become productive and educated, not left behind due to financial constraints. The programs will offer training, employment, and skill-building across multiple sectors.

Under the Chief Minister Skill Development Program, 200,000 children received training, while 1,000 were employed in the garment sector. The initiative also provides vocational training in welding, wiring, tile fixing, and other technical skills. Officials said these efforts target increasing Pakistan’s skilled workforce both locally and internationally.
The Parwaz Card will deliver funds transparently, providing interest-free loans of up to PKR 300,000. Maryam Nawaz said the card ensures financial support for youth, helping them start businesses or gain employment without bureaucratic hurdles. She added the goal is to turn Pakistan’s youth into global ambassadors of talent.

The Chief Minister urged young Pakistanis to unite for their country, focus on education and skills, and reject destructive influences. She said tools like laptops, not weapons, should empower the youth. The initiatives mark a major push toward a skilled, self-reliant generation ready to compete internationally.
