Punjab CBD CEO reviews progress on NSIT City

A high-level review meeting to evaluate the progress of NSIT City was held under the chairmanship of CEO CBD Punjab, Imran Amin. The session focused on ongoing development works, including hardscaping, landscaping, and public realm enhancements.

The meeting was attended by Executive Director Technical Riaz Hussain, Director Architecture & Planning Sameer Aftab Sial, Director Construction Asif Babar, Director Project Management Asif Iqbal, Director Engineering Umar Hayat, the Project Manager NSIT City, representatives of project contractors, and officials from NESPAK.

During the briefing, the CEO was apprised of the current status of hardscaping, landscaping, and public realm works, with particular emphasis on finishing stages of public spaces. Detailed discussions were held on material specifications, quality benchmarks, and design elements to ensure durability, sustainability, and visual excellence.

CEO CBD Punjab Imran Amin underscored that quality would not be compromised at any stage of development. He directed all stakeholders to ensure strict compliance with international standards in infrastructure development and urban design, reiterating that NSIT City is envisioned as a world-class technology hub integrating functionality, sustainability, and contemporary urban aesthetics.

Highlighting the importance of urban livability, the CEO emphasized premium landscaping and thoughtfully designed public spaces to enhance the city’s overall outlook. He further shared that a modern and efficient internal transportation system will be introduced to ensure seamless mobility within NSIT City.

In line with CBD Punjab’s sustainability agenda, the green area within the project has been significantly expanded, reinforcing the authority’s commitment to environmentally responsible and future-ready urban development.

NSIT City continues to advance at a rapid pace as a flagship project of CBD Punjab, setting new benchmarks for smart, sustainable, and globally competitive urban infrastructure in Pakistan.
