
U.S. President Donald Trump officially announced the Gaza Board of Peace at a signing ceremony in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, along with leaders from several other countries, signed the agreement. The board aims to promote peace, dialogue, and development projects in Gaza and the wider region.
Speaking at the event, Trump thanked all participating nations for joining the initiative. He said the board will work closely with the United Nations and other international partners to implement humanitarian and reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

Trump highlighted his past diplomatic achievements, saying he successfully stopped eight potential wars, including a possible conflict between nuclear-armed Pakistan and India. He said these efforts have contributed to global security and stability.
He also addressed Iran, stating that the U.S. is ready for negotiations. “Iran wants to talk, and we are willing to engage,” Trump said, emphasizing continued U.S. diplomatic outreach in the Middle East.
