
Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Wednesday as the rate of 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,300 per tola, climbing from Rs436,562 to Rs438,862. The increase reflects steady demand and rising global market influence, which has pushed domestic prices higher.
Additionally, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,972, reaching Rs376,253, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs1,808 to settle at Rs344,911. These consistent jumps show the growing impact of international gold movements on local pricing.

Meanwhile, global gold prices also recorded a strong rise, with the metal trading at $4,165 per ounce after gaining $23 from the previous rate of $4,142. International market fluctuations continue to shape investor sentiment and contribute to domestic volatility.
Silver prices followed a similar upward pattern, with silver per tola increasing by Rs60 and reaching Rs5,482 compared to Rs5,422 a day earlier. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of silver grew by Rs51, moving from Rs4,648 to Rs4,699 in the local market.

Furthermore, international silver prices stood at $52.10 per ounce, adding to the overall upward pressure on precious metals. Investors are closely watching global trends as both gold and silver continue to show strong momentum.
