Islamabad, Pakistan: Federal Information Minister Ata Tarar claimed that former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s decisions were influenced by spirituality, not the country’s interests. He alleged that Bushra Bibi, Khan’s wife, often guided political and governmental decisions. Tarar said she even ensured implementation of these decisions.
Speaking to the media, the minister said all major political and economic decisions under PTI were directed by Bushra Bibi. He accused Imran Khan of making false claims against Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, including an alleged $10 billion offer that never occurred. PTI lawyers had to respond to these claims in court.

Tarar further criticized PTI’s politics as full of hypocrisy, lies, and false allegations. He claimed PTI’s performance in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had been poor and dismissed the 2017 sit-in protests as based on fabricated accusations.
On security matters, Tarar highlighted the successful rescue of over 500 students during the Wana Cadet College attack, calling it potentially worse than APS. He also thanked the Sri Lankan High Commissioner for continuing the cricket tour after the Islamabad bombing.
