MDCAT results announced by SIBA Testing Services

SIBA Testing Services (STS) announced the final results of the Medical and Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) 2025 on Sunday.

The test was conducted on October 26, 2025, across nine cities and ten test centers in Karachi, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Larkana, Jacobabad, Sukkur, and the Federal Capital, Islamabad.

The results have been declared after addressing all grievances received from applicants regarding the provisional results uploaded on October 30, 2025. In line with STS’s commitment to merit and transparency, the final results were compiled based on the minimum passing criteria set by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC)-55% for medical college admission and 50% for dental college admission.

The candidates have been advised to view their results on the STS website at https://www.iba-suk.edu.pk/sts/announcements.

Sindh University holds LLM pre-entry test

The University of Sindh, Jamshoro conducted the Pre-Entry Test for admissions to the LLM (Evening) program for the academic year 2026 at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (IMCS) on Sunday.

A total of 326 candidates, including 71 female candidates, appeared in the test for 100 available seats, while 105 candidates remained absent.

According to the University’s spokesperson, the test commenced at 10:00 a.m. and continued uninterrupted until 11:30 a.m.

The Sindh University Testing Centre announced the results within one hour of the test’s conclusion, which were also uploaded to the university’s official website.

During his visit to the examination center, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Fateh Muhammad Marri expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and lauded the smooth and transparent conduct of the test.

He remarked that the LLM degree was one of the most significant and advanced qualifications in the field of law, requiring hard work, dedication and academic commitment from those seeking admission.

Dr Marri further stated that the University of Sindh was paying special attention to the promotion of legal education so that law was practiced in its true spirit, public awareness regarding legal matters was enhanced, and the younger generation developed a deeper sense of judicial understanding.

He added that the University’s LLM program had been running successfully for several years and continued to uphold high academic and administrative standards.

The Vice-Chancellor was accompanied during the visit by Dean Faculty of Law Ahmed Luqman Memon, Director Institute of Law (Mitha Ram Hyderabad) Dr. Sardar Ali Shah, Director IMCS Dr. Abdul Waseem Shaikh, Director Admissions Dr. Ayaz Keerio, Director ORIC Dr. Farhat Noreen, Professor Dr. Imtiaz Korejo, Professor Dr. Riaz Hussain Marri, Professor Umeed Ali Rind, Dr. Shah Murad Chandio and Director Campus Security Rafiq Ali Brohi.

Comprehensive arrangements were made for candidates, including security, seating and other necessary facilities ensuring a peaceful and transparent testing environment.

Vice-Chancellor Dr. Marri congratulated all university staff for successfully organizing the test in a disciplined and pleasant atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Director of the Sindh University Testing Centre Dr. Aftab Chandio announced the results within an hour of the test. According to the official results, Imran Gadahi from Dadu secured the top position by obtaining 73 marks out of 100. Sajid Ali Jakhrani from Kandhkot-Kashmore District and Ghulam Rasool Mallah from Jamshoro jointly secured the second position with 68 marks each, while Abdul Latif Dahani from Kashmore stood third with 66 marks. Uzair Ahmed Malik from Nawabshah and Muhammad Aqib Rajput from Jamshoro shared the fourth position with 64 marks each.
