MUMBAI –Rohit Khandelwal – winner of recently-held Mr India 2015 competition – has said that Milind Soman is his role model when it comes to modeling. “I look up to Milind Soman, I think he was one of the best models we’ve ever had. I get inspired by his work, and how he started his career and made it big in the modeling industry,” he said in an interview. About his future plan, the young model said that he never plans anything, but it was definitely related to modeling and acting. “I want to become an actor first, then a director followed by a producer,” he said. “If I get a project from a good film director, and the role is challenging, then I will definitely take it up,” he said. He also said that work experience and confidence set him apart from other finalists in Mr India 2015 competition. “I have been working in the television industry for the past six to seven months that gave me more confidence to face camera and the audience,” he said. “I realised the other finalists were fresh, and I feel my previous experience would give me an edge over others,” Rohit said. “I stopped giving auditions, stopped going for shoots. I started going to the gym twice a day, combined with a low-carb diet, as one needs to have a good body and personality,” he added.
