LAHORE: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to move an adjournment motion in the Punjab Assembly against the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) over alleged discrimination in the distribution of relief and funds among the flood victims. This was announced by PPP’s parliamentary leader in Punjab Assembly Qazi Ahmad Saeed in a statement issued on Sunday in which he also appealed to Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to take notice of the issue. The PPP leader claimed that some of the PML-N politicians in south Punjab have established flood relief camps at their political offices. He said the ruling party wants to make political gains, especially in the upcoming local bodies’ elections, through this step. Qazi said the flood victims who belong to his party are being deprived of government’s relief funds and goods. He said that his party would oppose the establishment of relief camps in political offices.
