KHAIRPUR: Gastrointestinal diseases have been spreading in Sukkur Division due to the rise in mercury, while hundreds of people were admitted to government and private hospitals. According to details, the mercury went up to 48 to 51 degree Celsius in Sukkur, Ghotki, Naushahro Feroze and Khairpur on Saturday and resultantly gastro disease spread and hundreds of people including children, women and men were admitted in private and government hospitals. According to civil hospital Sukkur sources, more than 20 people were admitted in hospital while many people were brought to private hospitals. While in Ghotki more than 70 people were admitted to different hospitals and 125 people in district Nashehro Feroze and 110 people were admitted in various hospitals of district Khairpur.
