LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) plans to activate its allied wings, including the students and women’s wings, to express solidarity with the central leadership through public gatherings in the coming days. Sources told Daily Times that the decision to do so was taken in a meeting held at the Prime Minister’s House on Friday. “The party leadership plans to activate its youth wings in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and Lahore divisions. PML-N Rawalpindi Division Youth Wing President Malik Shakeel Awan has been given a wakeup call. He has been instructed to be ready for dealing with any emerging political situation in the country,” sources said. Sources said that Federal Minister Abid Sher Ali had been tasked with activating the youth wing in Faisalabad. “Federal Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique has been given the same target from the central leadership. The PML-N leadership strongly believes that they have a stronger presence in these three cities. They want to hold reasonable rallies to give the desired impression in their favour if the decision of Panama case decision is against them,” sources said.
