LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq has said that the threats from the government side to the judiciary is kind of terrorism. Talking to the media outside the parliament house, he said that the government bid to harass the court would not succeed as the nation stood by the judiciary at this moment. The JI chief said that Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Nehal Hashmi was not speaking on his behalf but ruling party approach reflects in his controversial statement. He said that the government attitude in the Panama case had been aggressive from the very beginning. He said that the government had not accepted the Opposition’s ToRs and had announced a commission of its choice which had forced the opposition to the approach the Supreme Court. He said that the government was now giving threats to the court and it seemed that the rulers wanted to make the court decision in the Panama leaks case controversial. He said that the government had never accepted the court decisions against it. Siraj said that the government failure and incompetence was manifest from the prolonged load shedding during the Ramazan despite all promises.
