ISLAMABAD: The doctors who have “played” with the lives of poor patients and those who are suspects in murder cases have been posted to even higher and important posts at different hospitals . The Daily Times got information that a person named Waris Khan, lodged an FIR with the Naseerabad Police station Rawalpindi that his son Zubair Khan, got his medical degree from China. But the corrupt gang of doctors demanded Rs. 1.5 million from him to give him permission to appear in the examination held by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council(PMDC). He paid the amount to the gang of dishonest doctors, but after that they asked him for more money. On which, Zubair Khan said, that he had already paid a heavy amount to them and he cannot give more money. He threatened them that if he was not allowed to sit in the exams, he would tell the entire story of their corruption to the FIA, on which, the corrupt doctors gave him poison. Police Station Naseerabad Rawalpindi registered the case against Dr Masood Khan, Dr. Raja Amjad, Dr. Shaista, Dr. Iqbal Khattak, Dr. Ismail and Dr. Imdad . As a matter of fact the police could not arrest anybody in the case for a minute but the record of the police station was tampered with, which showed that they were apprehended but the police after filing a fake report, recommended a dismissal of the case. The police station said that after the transfer of Investigation Officer, Riaz Hussain Shah, the file of the case was closed. The brother of deceased Sohrab Khan told the Daily Times that the criminal doctors heavily bribed the police so the case was closed. The behaviour of police with the plaintiff was very harsh during the investigation of the case. The father of late Zubair, Waris Khan said that the police demanded millions of rupees as bribe but they could not fulfil this order so the police turned the case in favour of the criminal party. He requested the Chief Justice to take suo moto action so that the culprits may be put behind bars. The father of the deceased knocked the door of the courts of law against the illegal closure of the case, which would be heard in the court of Additional Session Judge, Tahir Abbas, on May 7. The sources told the Daily Times that State Minister CADD, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhary, had posted these corrupt and killer doctors to important seats, due to which the lives of poor and helpless patients had been put on stake. When the Daily Times tried to contact the Registrar PMDC to know his stance on the case the contact could not be made.
