KARACHI: A case of sexual abuse and video blackmailing has recently revealed in the Daharki town of Ghotki district, involving two women. Talking to media persons, two victims, Bakhtawar, wife of Abdul Ghaffar Panhwar and Naheed, wife of Akhtar Panhwar, residents of village Muhammad Malook Panhwar, alleged that they have been sexually assaulted and blackmailed by an influential since the last three years. The victims further said that the son of a local influential alongside his accomplices recorded the sexual assault and later threatened to make the video viral on the Internet if they dared to speak up against him. The two women were being assaulted repeatedly on the basis of that video. Ghotki SSP, Masood Bangash, took notice of this incident and has ordered the Daharki SHO to take action against the alleged, neither any case has been registered nor any arrest made to date.
