RAWALPINDI: Pakistan People’s Party Rawalpindi Chapter demonstrated its show of power here on Monday on the arrival of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. Thousands of Pakistan People’s Party supporters, workers and local leaders including Raja Imran Ashraf, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, leaders of People’s Lawyers Forum, PYO, and PSF gathered at T-Chowk Rawat, to accord a warm welcome to Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on his route to Mirpur. They chanted slogans with great enthusiasm like “Jeeay Bhutto” and “Prime Minister Bilawal”. In his very short speech Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that he was aware of the problems of Upper Punjab and the federal capital Islamabad. He said that there were no jobs for the poor and the government was demolishing the katchi abadis. He said ” today a large gathering of Pakistan People’s Party workers and leaders proved that Rawalpindi would be a stronghold of the party once again. Bilawal appreciated the Pakistan People’s Party President Rawalpindi Division Raja Imran Ashraf’s services and untiring efforts of the workers of the Rawalpindi Chapter. Thousands of vehicles became a part of Bilawal’s caravan on his way to Mirpur, where he addressed a massive public gathering. The GT Road was decorated with the big photos of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto , and Benazir Bhutto.
