ISLAMABAD: A protest by an angry group of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League N, during the budget session is the main reason now that Chief Minister Punjab mian Shahbaz Sharif has taken over the control of the party and started to listen to the complaints of elected representatives belonging to the PML-N,party, sources disclosed.Sources said that Mian Shahbaz Sharif directed his staff to arrange meetings of the PML-N parliamentarians after the passage of the budget. Now he is meeting with the ministers and the members of the National Assembly almost on daily basis and listening to their complaints and issuing orders to his staff to resolve these complaints as soon as possible..Mostly the MNAs’ complaints were regarding non releasing of funds directly to them, behaviour of their district coordination officers and federal ministers, sources said. Now the MNAs have been assured by the chief minister that they would get funds from the Punjab government as well for their constituencies ,while the schemes of the federal government fell in the millennium development goals and would continue so that basic health and education facilities could be provided to the masses, sources said. The chief minister also directed the Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab two days ago, to contact with all the MNAs of the PML-N and take in writing from them the demands they had regarding their constituencies, sources said.
