ISLAMABAD: The executive body of CDA has been strong-willed that the marking of plot numbers should be done with the NADRA developed software for free and fair procedure within two months. Until, NADRA develops the software, the marking of plots will done through a committee. Four members of teh committee have already been notified. The SoP has been decided for the allotment process of plots to the affectees in the developed sectors of capital. A committee has been formed under Member Estate and Deputy Director General (DDG) Law to ascertain the matter of appeal to Supreme Court (SC) after the judgment of Islamabad High Court (IHC) regarding the allotment of plots to deputationists and employees. Sources said the board meeting directed Estate wing to redevelop summary about the allotment of plots to deserving employees of the civic body and represent it in the next board meeting. CBA’s General Secretary also requested the board members to allot land to the employees as IHC also contended in their favour. The meeting held that to prevent the corruptions chances especially in land department, two divisions will made in land directorate which should scrutinize the genuine due cases from record. Two committees were formed in this regard. The meeting agreed that CDA has to establish its own police force and police stations which will work with the enforcement directorate. The board meeting has been deciding less about the matter of transfer and absorption process of nine thousand employees to Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC).
