Pakistan People’s Party has started sending invitations to the leadership of opposition parties to participate in the APC, party sources revealed. According to party sources, the invitations have been sent to the leadership of PML-N, JUI-F, ANP, BNP-Mengal, and NP. The main agenda of APC will be in-house changes in government by activating the anti-government elements and would be decided the mode of launch for movement against the government. According to sources, the APC would also decide to form the alliance of the opposition similar to ARD during the regime of General (R) Pervez Musharraf. As per sources cases against the leadership of opposition parties, NAB laws, Financial Action Task Force rules have been added to the agenda. On other development Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz has been stopped to attend the All Parties Conference (APC) while PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif along with party delegation will attend the APC. PML-N seven members’ delegation led by Shahbaz Sharif will participate in the APC. The delegation includes Ahsan Iqbal, Khawaja Asif, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, Ayyaz Sadiq and others. Nawaz Sharif is also likely to participate in the APC from London through online video conferencing. As per sources a three-member delegation led by Maulana Fazlur Rehman will attend the APC. From ANP Amir Haider Hoti and Mian Iftikhar will participate in APC. National Party delegation will comprise Dr Abdul Malik, Senator Mir Kabir and Ayub Malik. The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has changed the venue of All Parties Conference (APC) of the Opposition from Zardari House to a Ramada Hotel in Islamabad, scheduled to be held on September 20. According to sources the smaller opposition parties and nationalist parties from Balochistan accusing the PML-N and PPP for taking the different position in many issues to facilitate the government’s bills in the both the houses of the Parliament. As per details it is not for the first time that the opposition parties are attempting to get rid of the government. Back in 2018, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, President of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA) did first attempt after that in 2019, the JUI-F’s chief announced to topple the government. He professed that it is our last long march and next will be our Freedom March in Islamabad if the PTI government does not resign. Neither PPP nor PML-N supported the idea of dharna and urged Fazalur Rheman to keep the gathering limited to a protest after spending 13 days in Dharna the Maulana announced to call it off. Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) had already announced that they will not become part of any political alliance. Majlis-i-Shura of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) had made a decision to continue all political activities in the country under its own flag.
