PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) decided on Sunday to launch a protest march against the government from August 7, from Peshawar, a private TV channel reported. This was decided at a high-level meeting of the party chaired by PTI Chairman Imran Khan. The meeting was convened at the residence of Imran in Bani Gala. Imran said that the party would have to make a choice between a ‘corrupt government’ and ‘strong democracy’. He said that the country was at a critical juncture and the people expressed their hopes with the PTI. PTI Spokesman Naeem-ul-Haq said that Imran would also be part of the march which would be launched from Peshawar and will reach Attock where other smaller groups would also join them. Resources said however that the protest would not end there but the movement would continue for weeks in several different cities across the country.
