LAHORE: The Pakistan Sports Board gave cash awards to the medal winners of the Pakistan contingent who paticipated in the 13th South Asian Games 2019 held in Nepal. Unfortunately, the coaches were not given any cash awards. The Pakistan karate team members took a heartwarming decision on Wednesday to honour the services of their coach. The team collected six percent from their cash award for their coach Shah Muhammad Shan. The Pakistan karate team performed exceptionally well during the 13th South Asian Games by winning 6 gold, 8 silver and 5 bronze medals, the highest gold medals winner team of the Pakistan contingent. The Pakistan Karate Federation also awarded Rs.100,000/- cash to the coach. Muhammad Jahangir, Chairman of the Pakistan Karate Federation, awarded the cash prize of Rs.750,000/- to the coach. Jahangir appreciated the goodwill of the karate team members and the services of coach Shan.
