Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made a telephonic call to Balochistan National Party-Mengal (BNP-M) chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal on Saturday and discussed with him current political situation of the country, the locust attack and spread of coronavirus pandemic. Talking to BNP-M chief, Bilawal Bhutto said that the budget is against people which cannot be accepted. “Imran Khan is attacking the constitution of Pakistan by criticizing the 18th Amendment,” he said. “The Covid-19 pandemic has spread everywhere in the country due to the incompetence of Imran Khan and his government,” he further said, as both the leaders expressed concern over the spread of coronavirus in country. Bilawal and Mengal also talked about government’s actions with regard to the NFC award and an all parties-conference scheduled for next week. Both the leaders rejected recent increase in petroleum price and said that this is the time to provide maximum relief to the people. “This increase is an anti-people measure by the PTI government and Imran Khan has benefited mafia first by allowing it to hoard petroleum products and then increasing the oil prices all of a sudden,” they opined. Bilawal said the ‘selected’ prime minister has no compassion for the poor people of the country. “People did not get the benefit of decrease in petroleum prices due to shortage of oil in the market but now the increase of petroleum prices will further increase inflation,” he said. “Every single day of this selected prime minister is increasing the problems for the poor masses,” he added.
