One thing is common — women want to dress up, look their best and get dolled up even if it means staying in the comfort of their homes on Eid, and revealing their look only on their Instagram Stories “We are offering prices that are 30 percent less than what others are offering as we believe women deserve that. They’re coming out of their homes after so long and the last thing they want to see are ridiculously expensive clothes and accessories waiting for them. We owe it to them to provide great quality at affordable rates so their Eid could be special,” So Kamal Creative Director Erum Ahmed Kamal says while talking exclusively to Daily Times. The collection encompasses luxury Eid wear set in hues and patterns suited to the season. From subtle greys to merry pinks, bright and cherry yellows to bold darks, and then there is gold and monochrome – all set to appeal to a wider number of audience so it’s safe to say that there’s something for everyone. Eco-friendly designs, statement prints and minimalistic approach to embellishments and embroideries is key here. The fabrics are breathable and possess a subdued feel. There is a focus on responsible fashion so even accessories are being recycled such as buckles and belts. Trimmings are dip dyed like piping and sand zips. Various fabric finishes include aloe vera and wrinkle free finishing. The designs this season are sprightly and stylishly made; the silhouettes are classy, the tailored look is appreciated with pleating, piping, twists and pin-tucks to add flavour to the garment. Digital printing, pastel colours, vibrant ombre tones and powdery rainbows are key colour factors. What we particularly like about the collection is that utmost responsibility has been taken by the creative brains behind the design team to bring to women outstanding quality wear coupled with affordability and also going light on the embroideries and the embellishments considering there will not be any lavish feasts or parties this Eid, and women would prefer meeting up friends and family in the comforts of their home with a casual yet happy appeal to the entire do.
