The Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has decided to suspend all domestic flights operation from Karachi and Sukkur airports from 24th March 2020 till April 4, 2020 aimed to curb coronavirus spread. The civil aviation authority has taken the decision on the request made by the Sindh government. Sindh government has requested CAA to suspend flight operation, on which CAA has issued a direction in the context of government request. The announcement was made as fresh cases of coronavirus being on the rise in all parts of the country, 89 new cases in Sukkur. The number of confirmed novel coronavirus cases in Pakistan rose to 777 as new cases reported on Sunday from all provinces. Earlier the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suspended its international flight operations amid increasing threat of coronavirus.
