KARACHI: Expressing displeasure over not establishing a task force to recover missing persons the Sindh High Court on Monday ordered to form a joint interrogation team (JIT) and submit its report in the court till the 10th of October. The Division bench headed by Justice Irfan Saadat Khan conducted the hearing on more than 30 cases of missing persons. The home secretary Sindh Riaz Soomro submitted that missing persons’ cases are administered by additional Secretary but in future he would personally look into the matter. The court directed the secretary that courts matters should be assessed fortnightly. Family members of Zaheer Hussain Rizvi, Sayed Muhammad Zaidi, and Bilal Tariq are among the missing whose cases have been filed. The court has issued show cause notice to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) west and the arrest warrants of the SHO Gulshan Maymar for non compliance of its orders.
