ISLAMABAD: Joint army exercises between Pakistan and Russian continued with the aim of increasing bilateral cooperation in defense and military areas. According to an ISPR spokesman, Pak-Russia Army joint exercises were progressing smoothly with both sides learning from each other. Commander Peshawar Corps lieutenant General Hadiat Ur Rehman visited the exercise areas and interacted with Russian and Pakistani troops participating in these exercises. These joint military Exercises will conclude on 10 Oct. Defense sources revealed that the main purpose of these exercise was to enhance the anti terrorism skills.
