ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister Office has announced arrest of five terrorists involved in Mardan court attack on September 2 that claimed at least 14 lives. According to the PM Office statement, law enforcement agencies arrested five terrorists involved in Mardan district court attack. During investigation, the accused confessed to having planned four more terror attacks in the country, the statement added. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif appreciated the law enforcement agencies for apprehending the terrorists. He said the action against terrorists was another step towards safe and secure Pakistan. At least 30 persons were also injured in the blast. On August 9, at least 70 lawyers were killed in a suicide blast at Civil Hospital Quetta following the killing of Balochistan Bar Association president by unidentified men earlier that day.
