Notably, she is expected to meet senior government officials and representatives from civil society to discuss the matters of grave concern. As per the statement issues by US Department of State, the US envoy will discuss a range of bilateral and regional issues, including shared interests in a free and open Indo-Pacific region that fosters prosperity, democracy, justice, and human rights. Wells will then travel to India, from January 15-18, to attend the “Raisina Dialogue” to advance the US-India strategic global partnership.
