ISLAMABAD: An agreement has been signed between Pakistan and Nigeria for sale of 10 Super Mushshak aircrafts to the Nigerian Air Force, a spokesman for the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) said on Friday. The contract signing ceremony was held in Abuja – capital of Nigeria – where Nigerian Air Force Air Vice Marshall Iya Ahmed Abdullahi and Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) Chairman Air Marshal Arshad Malik signed the contract. The contract also includes operational training and technical support and assistance to the Nigerian Air Force, said the spokesman. According to a PAF statement, the contract will not only open new avenues for export of aviation equipment to foreign countries but will also help in generating revenue for the country. The deal will strengthen the PAC’s status as a world-class aviation industry producing the supersonic JF-17 Thunder jets and Super Mushshak trainer aircrafts, the statement added.
