KARACHI: Six additional judges of Sindh High Court have sworn in as permanent judges on Monday. SHC Chief Justice Sajjad Ali Shah administered the oath of the additional judges at a ceremony held at the second floor of the main building of the high court. The sworn-in judges include Justice Muhammad Iqbal Maher, Khadim Hussain Shaikh, Zulifqar Ahmed Khan, Mahmood A Khan, Muhammad Karim Khan Agha and Muhammad Faisal Kamal Alam. The Judicial Commission had earlier recommended on the appointment of judges the names of six additional judges for their permanent appointment to the Parliamentary Committee. Following the approval by the Parliamentary Committee, the law ministry had issued a notification to that effect.
