KARACHI: The authorities in Sindh have issued security alert across the province , followed by deadly attack on police academy in Quetta, Balochistan On Monday night, heavily-armed militants wearing suicide vests stormed a police academy in Quetta killing at least 61 people and wounding dozens more. The Balochistan Home Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has termed the attacks as one of the deadliest militant attacks this year. Followed by the attacks, police and Rangers officials in Karachi have increased their surveillance. Inspector General Police Sindh A.D. Khawaja has ordered to improved security around schools, colleges and the police training centres across Sindh. “All the police training centers across Sindh, colleges, schools and other educational institutes must be well secured,” said Khawaja while issuing security alert. The police has been asked to ensure security and also to conduct snap checking, picketing and patrolling in their jurisdiction.
