PESHAWAR: After the quetta terrorist attack at police training centre, the KP police met in Mardan to focus on different training centres of the police offices as well as the sensitive places in KP. The IGP termed Mardan as sensitive after Peshawar so far as security issues were concerned. This was stated by Police IG Nasir Khan Durrani, to focus on the security and also said that Mardan was a sensitive city after Peshawar. All the Regional police Officers (RPOs) Mardan, Peshawar, Hazara, Bannu and Malakand were also present at the meeting arranged at the Police School of Public Disorder in Mardan. On this ocasion, Durrani also inaugurated the public services office (Pal) in Mardan, which is a one window facility for the local people in the district. He told the media that the government gave full authority to serve the people and was trying to use that authority as a sacred duty for the people in KP. The IGP said there was no political interference in the police dept and they had have improved the police to serve the people better.
