MIRPURKHAS: Sindh High Court has issued a show cause notice to Deputy Commissioner Mirpurkhas while hearing a petition challenging the elected body of Gymkhana Mirpurkhas. According to the details, Raess Ahmed Khan moved the court stating he was elected as General Secretary along with former Advocate General Sindh Yousuf Laghari as President in the elections of MG 10 months ago. But, DC Mirpurkhas without citing any reasondissolved the elected body and formed a 3-member committee to hold fresh elections within 3 months. The petitioner submitted that 10 months have passed but the committee has not yet initiated the election process. The Hyderabad Circuit Bench while expressing displeasure over the absence of the DC Mirpurkhas issued the show cause notice and ordered him to submit reply on November 3rd.
