ISLAMABAD: Lok Virsa would organize an interactive session with an expert of Hollywood, Jesse Fagerhaugh, marketing manager of renowned institute “School of Audio Engineering” on Tuesday. According to statement, the participants would discuss ideas of future world of marketing and creative media. The presentation will also discuss the evolution from traditional marketing to digital marketing and ultimately the gamification of marketing. Lok Virsa folk music classes from Nov 12: Lok Virsa announced to hold classes to promote folk music among children in the country from November 12. Executive Director Lok Virsa Dr Fouzia Saeed told APP that four music courses in Rubab, Bansuri, harmonium and folk songs singing would be conducted at its premises. “We will be flexible in the first month to accommodate maximum children for each of the three-month course,” she added. To mark birth anniversary, a Puppet show, speeches, national songs and Tableau will be presented by children of various educational institutions. The celebrations aimed to highlight the messages, thoughts and ideology of Allama Iqbal, a great national poet. Allama Iqbal, born on November 9, 1877 in Sialkot, was a great leader of Muslims of the Sub-Continent and an important personality for the Pakistan Movement. Iqbal was a Sufi poet for the modern age, who infused a revolutionary spirit in the nation through his poetry. His poetry has been translated in Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, English and several other languages. Renowned singers Muhammad Ali, Babar Niazi, Javed Niazi & Gulshan Jehan will present Iqbal’s poetry.
