LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders on Monday showed 100 percent confidence in the Supreme Court of Pakistan for dispensation of justice in the Panama leaks case against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. PTI leader and former Punjab governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar expressed full confidence in the Supreme Court, saying that the eyes of entire nation are on the apex court for dispensation of justice in the Panama leaks case. Addressing the workers at a luncheon hosted by PTI leaders Haji Bashir and Muhammad Hanif, Sarwar urged the nation to be optimistic, as PTI would achieve its objective of rooting out corruption from the country. PTI Regional President Chaudhary Ashfaq, former opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Raja Riaz Ahmad Khan and others were also present on the occasion. The former governor arrested that the PTI’s struggle was for supremacy of law and equality of justice, as only free and fair investigation could trigger accountability and end corruption from the country. “People are suffering as the rulers have inflicted more problems instead of solving the existing ones,” he added. The PTI stalwart said his party was fighting an unprecedented war against corruption and the decision of Panama leaks would help eradicate the culture of nepotism, bribery and bad governance from the country. He urged the people to support Imran Khan, as PTI was the only political party could bring a positive change in the society. Chaudhry Ashfaq on the occasion also addressed the gathering and said that everyone wanted eradication of existing problems but it was not possible under the present regime, as the real face of the government has been completely exposed before the nation. Raja Riaz said that the rulers would not be able to abstain accountability in the Supreme Court, while Haji Bashir was of the view that PTI Chairman Imran Khan was a patriotic leader and the nation would continue to support him in the war against corruption.
