LAHORE: Accepting the weight of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and its young Chairman Bilawal Bhutto’s recent entry in the province, Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan has said that his party has a right to get share in the provincial politics. Sanaullah, the most important and powerful minister after Shahbaz Sharif, was talking to journalists outside the Punjab Assembly building before joining the session on Friday. On a question about Bilawal’s political gain in Punjab, the hub of the ruling PML-N, the minister said that immature politics was being done by him (Bilawal) as he was running on an aggressive pitch which is a mistake. He stated that it should be recognised and recalled by PPP and Bilawal Bhutto that the people had already rejected the aggressive politics of Imran Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). So, Sanaullah added, Bilawal Bhutto should review his aggressive attitude in politics and must try to do serious and mature politics which only is in favour of him and will be fruitful and should also avoid to Imran’s political style. The provincial minister, giving weight to the PPP and Bilawal in provincial politics, said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s PPP wanted to be a part of politics getting some share in it. Replying to some queries about the law and order situation especially when a ruling party MPA named Inamullah Niazi was looted by a dacoit in broad daylight, he said that the overall situation in the province was satisfactory and CCTV footage has been collected of the incident. Soon, he said, the culprits would be identified and arrested. Commenting on the defeat of PML-N candidate in Jhang by-elections and victory of a banned organisation’s candidate who is a son of Haq Nawaz Jhangvi from provincial constituency of PP-78, Rana Sanaullah said that results of the elections revealed that Jhangvi’s son won the elections due to popularity of his father among the people of the constituency.
