Actor and singer Ali Zafar has stood up for the cricket team of Pakistan and called upon the cricket fans not to use abusive language and harsh words against players. In a video message, the singer said that both losing and winning were part of game and they must support and motivate their team in all circumstances. He believed that everybody had the right to express his/her opinion and sentiments but some people crossed the moral limits while criticizing the performance of a player. “I request everybody that players are also human beings and such abusive and harsh remarks hurt their feelings and demotivate them,” he added. Ali Zafar accepted that our cricket system needed improvement and requested Prime Minister Imran Khan for his personal attention to reform it and bring it as per international standards. He said he normally didn’t make such videos but cricket was very close to his heart, so he was throwing in his two cents on the issue. Talking about Pakistan match against South Africa, Zafar said that he was with his team with the best of positive emotions.
