ISLAMABAD: The drop scene of the case regarding alleged torture on a minor house maid by the Additional Sessions Judge, Raja Khurram Ali and his spouse, has come to the surface as both the parties have submitted their conciliation consent in the court of law. After the mutual concurrence, the court has accepted the bail of the wife of ASJ, against the surety bond of Rs 30,000, whereas the court also ordered to hand over the minor girl Tayyaba to her parents. The father of the girl in his affidavit said: “I reached an agreement with the judge Khurram without accepting any pressure. I have has forgiven the accused and his wife in the name of God and have no objection on the acquittal of the accused”. After receiving the conciliation consent, the Additional and Sessions Judge Raja Asif Mehmood accepted it. It is pertinent to mention here that the minor girl Tayyaba was working as a house maid at the home of a serving judge, where she was allegedly subjected to physical violence. The Chief Justice of Islamabad High Court, Justice Muhammad Anwar Kasi, took sue motto action on December 29 and instructed thein charge of I-9 Police Station to register the case against the Additional Sessions Judge Raja Khurram Ali and to submit a report in the court within two days. During the course of the investigation, the minor girl had recorded her statement to the Registrar IHC, where she told him that she was subjected to physical violence as the groom was lost. “First of all they thumped me, then they beat me with the big spoon, used for making tea on my eye. Then Mano Baji (wife of the judge lit the stove and put my hands in the flames”, she told the registrar. On the orders of the Chief Justice the accused judge was also produced in front of the Registrar High Court Raja Jawad Hassan Abbas, where he also recorded his in-camera statement. The SHO and the investigating officer of the case also appeared before the registrar. Earlier the Sessions Judge had dismissed all the allegations. An application was moved by the family who claimed that they were the parents of the child. The application was put up in the court of Assistant Commissioner Nisha Ishtiaq. However, the claimants did not appear before the court, so she was sent to the Crises Cell. However on Tuesday, the Additional Sessions Judge ordered to hand over the minor girl to her parents on the application of her father Azam.
