DADU: Pakistan People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari has said that his party will continue its fight for the sustainability of democracy, adding that July 5 was a black day in the country’s democratic history. During the past 40 years, the dictators had occupied democracy, so how could our country develop, the former president said. He pledged that just like his leaders Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto, he would protect democracy till his last breath. Zardari was talking to party workers convention at PPP MNA Rafique Ahmed Jamali’s house along with central PPP leader Syed Khurshid Ahmed Shah, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, former PPP CM Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Home Minister Sindh Anwar Sohail Siyal, PPP MNA Imran Zafar Laghari, MPA Sajela Laghari, MPA Kalsoon Chandio, PPP Senior leader Imanullah Shahani and other PPP representatives. PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari said that if he had not given powers to parliament the Prime Minister would not come into the court of justice. Asif Ali Zardari said that on 5 July the dictator General Zia had proclaimed Martial law in country which had ruined Bhutto’s democracy for a long time. Bhutto was offered to leave the country by dictators but he wanted to live in history. Those leaders will not live in history who fear from Panama case and prisons. He had not any make any plans for the new government but the public has made plans for government. The PTI Chairman Imran Khan would not be able to made government in next elections but Bilawal Bhutto will become the new Prime Minister of Pakistan and he would elected from Punjab, KPK, Balochistan and Sindh. Talking about CPEC Asif Ali Zardari said that these politicians are calling it a game changer for the country but he did not know what the game changer would mean and CPEC would change region of our country.
