LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Siraj-ul-Haq on Sunday stated the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) government honeymoon period is over and now its time for them to deliver on their promises. While addressing a ceremony, the JI chief said the government had made many announcements but it failed to deliver, adding that philosophy of this government is to take U-turns. The JI leader further criticized the on going anti-encroachments drives in Karachi and Lahore, adding that at least six thousand homes have been destroyed in the name of illegal encroachment. Moreover, the government had announced to provide relief to the people but failed, the JI leader added.
