ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Shireen Mazari reacted to the lift on screening of banned Indian movies, saying the Panama case had confused the minds of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) ministers. Mazari remarked in reaction to Information and Broadcast Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb’s statement where she said that films from Bollywood would increase cinema goers in Pakistan. “The government has decided to maintain the current policy regarding import of Indian cinematograph films,” the minister was quoted as saying. The PTI ticket holder aimed criticism at the PML-N lawmaker questioning how she could dare to promote Indian films in Pakistan when Pakistani content is banned in India. She further stated that Nawaz government has always tried to please Modi government and this decision was also taken to keep their relationship in check.
