At least four schoolchildren were injured as unidentified gunmen opened fire outside a private school in Kili Shabo area of Quetta on Wednesday. Police said assailants on motorcycles fired at the gate of the school, injuring four students. The injured students were shifted to the Civil Hospital Quetta for treatment, police said. A hospital spokesperson said the schoolchildren aged between nine and 12 years were being treated and were out of danger. Investigations into the incident are under way, according to police. Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan took notice of the incident and sought report from the authorities concerned. He directed the law enforcement agencies to arrest those involved in the attack.
