Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed should merge his party, Awami Muslim League, with Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) after winning two National Assembly seats with our support, PTI District President Shehryar Riaz said on Thursday. Talking exclusively to Daily Times, former Member of Provincial Assembly and current PTI District President Shehryar Riaz categorically said that after winning from NA-60 and NA-62 with the support of PTI workers, ethically there is no justification to keep flying Awami Muslim League flag on the Lal Haveli. The Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed should merge his party with PTI. Responding to a question, Shehryar Riaz said, “We are doing efforts to resolve the intra-party difference that are emerged in general and by-election. The organisational structure at district and tehsil level will be also completed within a month. Ideological workers will be obliged in the district and tehsil cabinet.” He announced that public secretariats will be established in districts and tehsils of Rawalpindi to address the public issues. Office bearers will available in these secretariats to assist the general public and will work as bridge between the elected parliamentarians and public. PTI leadership has sparked the struggle to complete the organisational structure at gross roots level, in first phase of this struggle they announced the office bearers of Tehsil Kotlisattian. Wing Commander (r) Nisar Satti is given the slot of tehsil president while well-known youth leader Atif Jamil Satti is appointed general secretary. The newly nominated president and general secretary with mutual consultation will complete the tehsil cabinet. MPA Farah Agha was appointed Rawalpindi Women Wing president.
