An accountability court on Monday handed the Punjab government authority to auction property of absconding former finance minister Ishaq Dar in a case pertaining to possession of assets beyond known sources of income. The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) submitted a report to the court over Dar’s three plots, revealing that the property is in the name of Ali Mustafa Dar, Tabussam Dar and Ishaq Dar. The accountability court ordered the sale of three plots and handed over their possession to the provincial government. The seizure of Dar’s assets was ordered after he did not appear before the accountability court in a case pertaining to the accumulation of assets beyond known sources of income.
