NEW DELHI: Indian Army Chief General Bipi Rawat on Saturday has threatened to take military actions against Pakistan saying that it is the time to give it back to them in their own language with restoring to barbarism. Also read: PM Khan disappointed over India’s ‘negative’ response The statement came a day after Indian government canceled a meeting between the foreign ministers of India and Pakistan on the side lines of United Nations General assembly (UNGA). According to the media reports, Rawat said “We need to take stern action to avenge the barbarism that terrorists and Pakistan Army have been carrying out.” Also read: FM Qureshi disappointed over India’s decision to back out of talks “Yes it is the time to give it back to them in the same language with not restoring to barbarism,” he added. Earlier, on Friday, Indian government called off the meeting of foreign ministers of Pakistan and India, which was scheduled in New York on the sidelines of UNGA. The spokesperson of Indian ministry of external affair Raveesh Kumar confirmed that India has canceled the meeting between Shah Mehmood Qureshi and his Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj and will not go forward in this regard.
