The cases regarding dams are not political ones, rather of public welfare and those who aim to defame the SC won’t be spared,” the chief justice said. On Tuesday, Khursheed had said Justice Nisar should launch his political party and enter politics, adding that empty slogans and speeches won’t solve the country’s problems. During the hearing, the CJP also directed the Punjab government representatives to issue a deadline over the construction of the Dodocha dam. “Punjab CM must brief us regarding the construction of the dam. Should we summon him too?” The hearing was adjourned till September 26.
