LAHORE: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif summoned an important party meeting today (Monday) in Lahore. Senior party leaders will be consulted over the General Elections results and the strategy about the formation of government in Punjab (a province where the party ruled for ten years consecutively) will be made. According to PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah, the party needs only 18 MPA-elects to form the government in Punjab. Sanaullah claimed that they have 130 seats and need an additional 18 MPA-elects. After the inclusion of Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) six elected MPAs and 13 independents, the party will have enough seats to form Punjab government, he added. However, on the other hand, PML-N’s opposition political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has also claimed of having enough members to form the government in Punjab.
