KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders on Thursday claimed that stamped ballot papers were recovered from a school in Karachi’s NA-247 constituency. The former PPP senator and newly elected MPA Saeed Ghani said that children found ballot papers under the desks at the polling station after they returned from the summer vacations. The school is located in Karachi’s Gizri area where the PPP leader Abdul Aziz Memon was contesting for the NA-247. Ghani told that out of total 154 ballot papers 118 were stamped on “arrow”, and none of them was stamped on “bat”. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate had won the NA-247 seat securing 91,020 votes while the PPP candidate was second with 19,552 votes.
