KHAIRPUR: Former Sindh Chief Minister and newly elected independent member of the National Assembly seat no-205 Ghotki-2, Saradar Ali Muhammad Khan Mahar has decided to join the Pakistan Tehreek Insaf (PTI). Sardar Ali Muhammad Khan Mahar had been in contact with the PTI leadership and has left for Islamabad on Sunday to meet Chairman PTI Imran Khan. According to sources, Sardar Ali Muhammad Khan will formally announce his decision to join the party after his meeting with the PTI chief. Also, Sardar Ali Muhammad’s brothers are both members of the Sindh Provincial Assembly. Sardar Ali Gohar Khan Mahar is an elected member of the provincial assembly from the Grand Democratic Alliance’s (GDA) seat in PS-20 Ghotki, while Sardar Ali Nawaz Mahar was elected to the provincial assembly from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) seat in PS-21. GDA’s Sardar Ali Gohar Khan Mahar has given the PPP candidates in Ghotki, Sukkur, Shirkapur, Khairpur, Naushahro Feroze and some other districts of Sindh an especially rough time during the electoral process these elections.
