Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ) Senior Central Leader and former deputy prime minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that our manifesto is our service to the people and our development works of the past. “People who are benefitting from the Rescue 1122 pray for me out of their hearts. The voters who had elected me and enabled me to do such works with the blessings of Almighty Allah also deserve these prayers,” he said. He said this while speaking on the occasion of 200 notables headed by Ejaz Khan of NA-69 who joined PMLQ in Gujrat on Sunday. PMLQ Leader Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said that if former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was to go to Adiala Jail after destroying Pakistan, then he should better have done some other crime instead of causing Pakistan so much loss, putting the country under debt and depriving people of basic facilities like clean drinking water, education and health. He said that Shehbaz Sharif in his recent years’ tenure also has not done any work for public service and welfare. “There’s a reason why he is suffering from high blood pressure. Whenever he realises what PMLQ did for the people and compare it his own work, he gets unwell,” Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi said. He further said that after playing rough politics and delivering shoddy services to the people, Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz adopted the path of corruption, falsehood, fraud and rigging and accomplishing their interests and so because of this today, the elder one is in jail and younger one might also go. Pervaiz Elahi said those who had been tasting success during elections through bargaining and rigging are now raising hue and cry on seeing the doors of their rigging being shut because they see no possibility of their victory in fair and transparent elections and they are busy in leveling allegations and falsehood. On the occasion, Haji Attaullah, Zubeda Ehsan, Ejaz Khan, Imran Warraich, Chaudhry Tausif Abdullah, Aurangzeb, Ali Warraich, Chaudhry Khalid Warraich and other leaders were also present.
